Location of Tambor and Fidelito Ranch:
Fideltio Ranch is located 2 km from the center of Tambor. Tambor lies in a tranquil bay on the southern Nicoya Peninsula, on the Pacific side of Costa Rica.
From San José you can either fly to the small airport of Tambor, or drive to Puntarenas and set over the Gulf of Nicoya with the ferry to Paquera. From Paquera it's a 20 min drive to Tambor.
From the Northern Nicoya Peninsula, Tamarindo or Liberia, drive south via Nicoya and Playa Naranjo to Paquera where you turn west to Tambor.
Driving instructions if coming from the Tambor Airport:
Coming from the Airport-strip you will drive about 10 minutes to the Fidelito Ranch passing the Hotel Casino Barcelo. From the Barcelo Hotel you need to continue more 2 km until the small T-junction, which is 25 meters before the small bridge over the Rio Panica, then you make a right turn to the Panica Village, about 2 km on a paved road.
You need to pass by the school ( on your right hand ) in the center of
Panica until the T-junction at the end of this paved road.
Now you turn 2 times to your right into a small unpaved road in front
of a black cattle-horse Coral, which shows the Fidelito Ranch logo sign.
Please note the second right turn is only 15 meters after the first right
turn.
This secondary road 800 meters leads finally to the Fidelito Ranch. After 600 meters you will see the second Fidelito Ranch logo sign at the splitting junction and drive left. After 200 meters you will find the Ranch Main Gate entrance on your right side.
Please contact the small Green House on the right side directly after the Main Gate entrance.
Driving instructions coming from Paquera:
Coming from the town of Paquera you have to continue to the direction of Tambor - Panica. After passing thru Paquera you will drive about 30 minutes to Panica, passing the village of Bahia Azul, the National Park of CURU, the Golf Country course of Los Delfines, the Airport-strip, the Hotel Barcelo Casino. From the Barcelo Casino Hotel you need to continue more 2 km until the small T-junction, which is 25 meters before the small bridge over the Rio Panica, then you make a right turn to the Panica Village, about 2 km on a paved road.
You need to pass by the school ( on your right hand ) in the center of
Panica until the T-junction at the end of this paved road.

Coming from Cobano to Tambor you have to continue to the direction of the village Panica or Paquera. After passing thru the village of Tambor you will see on your left side the Plaza or Soccer Field of Tambor.
Here the paved road turns 90 degrees to the right and about 600 meters
to the small bridge over the Rio Panica. After the bridge, 25 meters you
turn left to Panica village about 2 km and you need to pass by the school
in the center of Panica until the T-junction at the end of this paved
road.
Now you turn 2 times to your right into a small unpaved road in front
